Introduction:

Nubian Royale showcases exceptional culturally-inspired products crafted by expert entrepreneurs and designers in Africa and the Caribbean by providing our customers with a unique shopping experience via a digital platform. Our mission is to advance visibility, inclusion and market opportunities for small businesses by opening up European, North American and Asian markets through multiple payment, currency and delivery options accessible via our platform.

We are delighted to invite energetic, enthusiastic and proactive volunteers to take on key volunteering and commission based roles in our operational development phase. 

1)  Digital Engagement Manager

a) Creating inspiring graphic designs using Canva, adobe illustrator and photoshop.

b)To create, research and manage contents on website, blog posts, social media platforms and promotional campaigns 

c) To ensure that all contents are keyword optimised (SEO)

d) To use Google AdWords and analytic software for keyword targeting

e) To research relevant content for posting on social media platforms,  

f) To tactically engage relevant social media forums while gathering insights to inform growth strategies.

g) To work with the team on various marketing and promotional projects  

h) Commitment to training on further graphic design and video editing skills. 

2) Business Representative

a) To deliver Nubian Royale’s end-to-end value propositions to prospective suppliers via elevator pitches or well written proposals

b) To research, identify, engage and ultimately onboard new suppliers that satisfy our partnership criteria and within target radius.  

c) To develop a deep pipeline of prospects while updating the Nubian Royale prospect tracker

d) To prepare monthly reports that covers key weekly target, conversion plans, objections/issues and recommendations

e) Working closely with sellers to ensure that business objectives and performance are aligned with Nubian Royale values  

f) Negotiating product pricing with sellers  

g) Training sellers in logistic processes (including product handling and shipping timelines) 

h) Escalating risks and potential issues (including but not limited to non-compliance with terms set out in Terms and Conditions for Sellers)

i) Working with sellers to address any issues with order fulfilment, product delays and customer service satisfaction   

j) To commit to training and development on Nubian Royale services

k) To support enquiry from members or the Nubian Royal team

l) To follow the GDPR guidelines and security around handling supplier’s data

3) Quality Assurance Manager 

a) To work with project team to define quality criteria for individual products

b) To prepare quality criteria document as part of the contract document 

c) To ensure that the agreed level of product quality is met and satisfied 

d) To liaise frequently with both business representatives and suppliers on the level of quality requirements and acceptance criteria for individual product verticals.

e) To prepare, update and assign quality criteria to verticals as defined and agreed with Head of Operations (HOO)

f) To prepare an incident log for issues identified or raised buy customers for review during team meetings 

4) Online Merchandiser

a) Driving sales and conversion through effective stock management

b) Creating and maintaining accurate SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) data

c) Reviewing product photos from sellers to ensure that they meet the company requirements 

d) Liaising with sellers to collect information for product listings while reviewing information for completeness and accuracy 

e) Developing good relationships with sellers and business reps to track product availability and potential issues with supply chain

f) Manage the display of products on Nubian Royale.com website

g) Supporting the business to ensure that product are displayed correctly according to company guidelines, promotional activities and seasonal trends

h) Reviewing product attribute to ensure the site navigation, filters and customer browsing experience are optimised 

i) Managing a comprehensive library of data/ excel spreadsheet (including but not limited to stock and sale, mark-dawns and promotions, best seller categories)

j) Work closely with social media/ marketing team to align strategy with key marketing stories

k)  Working closely with technology team to ensure that website tools are fully operational 

l) Understanding supply chain, logistics and fulfilment 

5) Partnership Manager

a) Resourcing for cost effective business partnerships including, logistics, payment service providers and marketing companies, 

b) To Producing, monitoring and delivering financial budgets and forecasts for the fulfilment of logistical operations. Identify savings opportunities

c) Developing and maintaining positive relationships with our logistics provider(s) across the network.

d) Working closely with internal stakeholders and our logistic provider(s) to ensure that commercial plans are understood and appropriate fulfilment capacity is in place.

e) Ensuring regular reporting of performance KPIs.

f) Holding our logistic partner(s) accountable to service KPIs. Escalating poor performance to Nubian Royale management and supporting discussions for timely resolution. 

g) Ensuring that sellers receive the correct materials to fulfil shipment orders, to time and target.

h)  Working closely with sellers / business partners to ensure that shipments are compliant with company Quality Management and national/international requirements.

i)  Working closely with sellers / business partners to resolve issues with order fulfilment, shipment delays, shipment condition etc.

j)  Understanding of supply chain, logistics and fulfilment

k)  Researching other potential logistics providers
